NOTE THE CLUE

Special, magical skills are possessed by 'the people of many arts', & you can find public art & art venues all around the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast.

We have selected 25 locations around the area & by finding & observing them they will enhance the magical & creative skills in you.

WHERE IT IS & WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

  • We have divided the Cathedral Quarter into five zones to represent the five aicmes (you can refresh yourself about these in the Tree Alphabet section). Check the map to see where the zones are located.

  • Each aicme zone has five plaques secretly placed near public art or art venues in that zone - these represent the five characters in that group.

  • You only have to find one plaque per aicme zone to enter the competition - so only five plaques.

  • Find the plaques, scan the QR codes on them, & take note of the poetry line on that page. There are five lines of poetry to find.
  • Once you have all five lines of poetry just click the submit button at the bottom of any of the character pages, or this page, & enter your name, email address & answer to be submitted to the prize draw.

  • The winners will be announced during the week after the Culture Night weekend.

THE BONUS COMPETITION

  • If you are a 'super diviner' & manage to locate all 25 of the plaques, you will find a selection of numbers at the bottom of each page. If you know what they mean then make sure you submit your answer for a special bonus prize.
